About Us

Our Story

In 2023, God inspired Dr Osasere Imaghodor to start the Osasere Imaghodor Foundation after completing his National Youth Service Program in Afikpo, Ebonyi State.

This was also influenced by his role in serving as the Evangelism Secretary in the National Christian Corpers Fellowship and the Vice President of the Medical and Health Community Development Service in his assigned Local Government through which he spearheaded projects to impact the community.

The Osasere Imaghodor Foundation kickstarted on August 7, 2023, with a visit to the correctional facility in Benin City, Edo State with some friends and they provided the inmates with relief materials comprising of toiletries. It was a truly beautiful and humbling experience.

On December 2, 2023, the maiden Light Project (now Life Project) was organized at Oko Primary Healthcare Centre, Oko, Airport Road, Benin City. With the help of 30+ volunteers comprising Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses, Optometrists, and other non-clinical volunteers, free medical services were rendered to indigenes within the community. The services included BMI screening, blood glucose screening, blood pressure screening, eye checks, medical consultations, and drugs. About 180 people were reached with positive feedback from them that they were satisfied with the services that were provided.

On May 28, 2024, the team visited Idia College, Benin City, Edo State in our maiden Love project (now Light project) to celebrate the annual World Menstrual Hygiene Day with the theme ‘’ together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld’’. We collaborated with the Medical Women Association of Nigeria (MWAN), to teach 500+ female students about menstrual hygiene. We also provided the students with 500 sanitary pads.

We have also received invitations from Secondary schools to teach their students about personal hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and substance abuse.

Every project has been supported by partners and donors from different Nations of the world and we have been and are committed to ensuring transparency, integrity, excellence, and accountability in all our operations.

We are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Join us and partner with us and together we will do much more; Blessing Lives….Revealing Christ.

  • SDG 2 - Zero Hunger
  • SDG 3 - Good Health and well-being
  • SDG 4 - Quality Education

These goals have been divided into our three major projects.

Light Project

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14

The Light project is geared towards revealing God’s will for man which is for them to shine as light in our world. It serves as our school outreach project where we visit schools in different regions teaching students that they are special and encouraging them to shine the light on them. We teach and interact with the students concerning issues involving their spiritual, mental, social, and physical health.

We provide them with educational resources such as books and pens and other supportive materials comprising food, toiletries, sanitary pads and towels, school wear, and other necessary items to aid their daily living. We also provide scholarships and other supportive structures to help with their educational pursuits.

Love Project

“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’” Matthew 25:35-36

The love project demonstrates the riches God’s love to mankind. Through this project, we reach out to prisons, orphanages, IDP camps, people living with disabilities, the sick, widows, and the underprivileged. Our goal is reveal to the love of God to them, reassuring them that they are not alone, and reaffirming God’s unending love to them. We provide them with essential items such as food, clothes, toiletries, financial support, and other required needs.

Life Project

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2

The Life project is God’s will for the health of mankind. God wants everyone healed, whole, and well. This is our medical outreach expression through which we provide free medical services to people in different communities and regions. We provide services such as free medical consultation, blood pressure screening, blood glucose screening, eye screening, and more. We also pray and minister healing to the sick through our counseling units.

We are also open to collaborating with other organizations (governmental, non-governmental, private) on projects that align with our vision, mission, goals, and core values.
